How is the program delivered?
Immediately after completion of the order process, you will be sent an invoice and an electronic key to activate the program by email. The email will contain instructions on how to activate the program.
How do I activate the program?

After payment, you will receive a license key (a small piece of text) by e-mail, which you will enter into the program using the Help - Activate command.

How do I purchase an upgrade?

If you purchased a previous version of ProfiCAD, you can upgrade to the latest version at a discount of 50%.

Install the new version and enter your license key. The program will show you a discount code. Use the order form on the order page, fill in the form and enter the discount code.

If you prefer to purchase the upgrade before installing version 11, contact us by using the contact form on our website. We will provide you the discount code.

How do I install a new version of the program?
To prevent unwanted installations of upgrades that you did not intend to purchase, they can only be installed manually. This means downloading the installer from the website and installing it manually.
I prefer to pay by bank transfer on an invoice basis.
Select "wire transfer - prepayment" at the bottom of the order page. You will receive an invoice, and you can pay by bank transfer.
What happens when I buy a new PC. Do I need a new license of ProfiCAD?
You will be able to use your existing license. There is no need to buy a new one.
How do I transfer the license to a new PC?

There are two options:

a) Activate the program on the new PC using the software key you received upon purchase.

b) If you still have the old PC available, transfer the directory "C:\Program Files (x86)\ProfiCAD" to the new PC (this will also transfer the license).

How much are the updates? What follow-up costs would usually arise?

The minor upgrades (for example, from v. 8.1 to 8.2) are free of charge.

The major software versions (for example, upgrading from Version 8 to Version 9) are released approximately every 2 - 3 years, and are offered at a 50% discount.

When I purchase the program, how can I be sure that a new version will not be released shortly, requiring me to buy an upgrade?
When you purchase the program, we offer a protection period of 6 months. If a new version is released within this timeframe, you will receive the new version free of charge.
Can I buy the program for someone else?
Yes. At the bottom of the order page, click "Show more input fields" and then uncheck the "The Recipient or Licensee is the same as the Purchaser." checkbox and fill in the fields of the end user.
If I own a single user license and find out that I need a site license, can I buy it with a discount?
Yes, in this case, you can buy the site license for the difference between the prices. In this case, please inform us in advance so that we can prepare a discount coupon for you.
How do I create a quote myself?

You can easily create an official quote yourself during the order process. Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Add the desired products to the shopping cart.
  2. Proceed to checkout.
  3. Enter the required data in the order form.
  4. Select your preferred payment type.
  5. Review all the information you entered on the confirmation page.
  6. Instead of completing the order with the button at the bottom of the confirmation page, click the "Save as quote only" link.

This will generate an official quote for you.

Does ProfiCAD have any authorized resellers?
No. ProfiCAD is sold exclusively online through our official website. We do not authorize any third-party resellers. If you find ProfiCAD offered elsewhere, it is likely fraudulent. Always purchase ProfiCAD directly from our website to ensure you receive a legitimate license and support.
